In my opinion a good dog is a dog that makes old bones and one that, (when it's doddering about in its dotage) you look at him - even with failings or shortcomings - you desperately want to be able to turn the clock back and start all over again!!!! I'm lucky I've been there - a good dog!!!

A good dog is one that gets spoilt in their old age because they gave you everything, a good one is the dog that spends his entire life with you and passes away in YOUR kennel and when he dies a little bit of you dies also,,, and a good one is the dog that pulls you home after a hard nights lamping,,, i have been a lucky man.
