There was some other pics of me on my back with the guy in my guard, but there boring...i was basicly tying him up because his cardio was shite...long story short, i tired him enough with my defensive game, that it set me up for the KO in the second round...so thats me 4-1 now...3 wins with ko's, 1 with a guillotine... At the moment, i fight three, three minute rounds,...but it will be changing to three rounds of five minutes shortly... I dont know about the looking great part though, in that pic they seem to have got my 'ugly' side!..lol. As for developing the mind!...there was never realy the building blocks to make much anyway, but the few pebbles rattling around in there seem to be getting polished nicely enough, that one day they might be diamonds!..lol..well, at least Fools Gold anyway!... Kye 77 Posted June 9, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 9, 2007 Thanks Socks,.. To be honest, its REALY hard to keep it up, and as they say.."You GOTTA love it!"...lol. But hopefully it should pay off in the future, and if i dont make the grade, at least i can look back when im forty years old and say "Well, i gave it a go" instead of one of them ole' twats down the pub on a sunday, saying "I remember, back in the day,...i COULD have been the greatest!"... Just as a little update though...im fighting a Grappler in two weeks,...he has 7-2 (wins-loss) and is 5-10",...it will be like back in the UFC's!...you know, "Striker Vs Grappler"...lol. Then four weeks from that, once i beat this guy, i am fighting for the title, for a new fight organsition...im gonna be fighting the head coach of a local fight club, down side being i have knocked out three of there guys, so the coach has had enough, and said he will do the job properly....he is skilled on the ground, probably better than me, but he is small at 5-5"...so hopefully, my longer reach and better striking will get me through...plus i hate this guy, his whole camp have been talking shit about me, and it should degenerate into a 'Fight' instead of a 'Match'...just what the crowds like though eh!?..lol. Kye 77 Posted June 10, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 10, 2007 In the morning i do cardio for 45 minutes, but low intesnity cardio...keep the heart beat around 120-125bpm...this burns fat, without burning muscle... Then i roll, and fight train for two hours,...then 3-4 times a week i run hills...its a hill that is about as steep as you average staircase in a terrace house...its 1/8th of a mile long...we sprint up, then walk down, and repeat 10 times....then i do about 1hr of the same type of cardio i do in the morning, but in the evening. Thats it for cardio...it would be nice to mix it up with some swimming, but i never manage to find the bloody time...swimming is great. Kye,.. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
