suffolkpoacher 219
What's you opinion on taking 2dogs lamping at the same time, which way you find best 2 seperate slips or a double quick release ,like a coursing 1 which I have never used are they any good,as one of the dogs like to pull like a train all night thanks Quote Link to post

Tiny 7 1,694
When i lamp its either on my own or with one other person... If iam on my own i normal take my two one off slip walking too heel and one on and just keep changeing over run after run, Or if iam out with a mate then its a dog a peace and a lamp a peace and its aternative slips or ones one side of the hedge and the other is on the other side, And always single running..... 1 Quote Link to post

suffolkpoacher 219
We also run single mate but don't like 1 off slip as they can get wind of certain stuff which I'm not into. Does anyone use a double slip ,I might just stick to the separate leads Quote Link to post
Tiny 7 1,694
Kind of read the topic abit fast without really reading it right, Iv used two dog leads with the clip cut off with the end sawing together just too get one finger throw (Strongstuffs slips would be perfect) , I can hold and slip one dog at a time off one hand put both loops round your wrist and put one loop on one finger and the other on an other finger and just slip when needed... It is a pain in the arse at times thats why i like one walking too heel and the other on slip 1 Quote Link to post

haymin 2,465
I'm getting slips made by strong stuff just now one loop fits my thumb securely and the other loop is bigger just to hold on with my fingers just for one dog obviously. I find I don't lose them so much ) more practical for me anyway . 1 Quote Link to post
paulus 26
i got strong stuff to make me a double slip lead with a single handle on the end. Quote Link to post
Ossie n Arch 1,683
I sometimes take my 2, as if i leave one at home it whines all the time i'm out. (Driving the misses nuts) I have 2 long pieces of Paracord with a loop big enough to go over my wrist on one end. I thread the cord through the D ring on their collars and wrap each one separately around a finger. I then open one finger for each dog. Does hurt sometimes if the dogs are pullers though.
