foxfan 479
The Greek people go to the polls today and the result could impact all of us. In this link, Max Keiser helps Hugo Price explain a way for Greece (and all of us, because whats happening there could be coming here soon folks !) to escape the vampire banks. http://rrbi.co/2012/06/hugo-price-and-max-keiser-can-save-greece/

Yes you would need rulers with some integrity. Nigel Farage maybe ?

WILF 48,975
They will iron out all of our money then put a gun to our head and say " if you don't vote for more Europe then we will chuck you all down the khazi" They are scare mongering but the fact is, they can wipe out all of the third world debt at the stroke of a pen and not blink an eyelid. It's all bollocks, I hope the Greeks tell them to go f**k themselves and the whole rotten edifice comes tumbling down....then maybe we cab get back to some normality, stop giving them £44 million a DAY of our money, pay down our own debt and get on with real trade with whoever we see fit.

Caprelous 217
This country went down the pan 20 years ago when we went into the Euro and all these euro populous exercised their rights to come here and work ,undercutting price wise and taking our jobs. its just gone from bad to worse. Greece is no different don't forget they where the fathers of the civilized world to whom the Roman empire looked to and mirror. The last time the world was in so much shite was when we and america suffered a great depression, soup kitchens on every corner. Shortly afterwards the wold entered a world war ,like all wars they reduce population and create posterity and with less mouths to feed and support, we again build and yet again become wealthy. History has shown that every 25 years we worldwide suffer a depression followed by conflict. We are somewhat overdue on historical events or are we. Malt 379
What gets me is that Spain can get 100 billion to shore up it's failing banks without the hoops that Ireland, Greece and Portugal have to jump through to get theirs, how does that work?

What gets me is that Spain can get 100 billion to shore up it's failing banks without the hoops that Ireland, Greece and Portugal have to jump through to get theirs, how does that work? Those that control the monetary system and those that seem to put more in seem to have the most clout and dictate terms. Obviously it clearly has shown this to be Germany. We contribute as being a member and supplement the system but we opted out of the euro finance side of things at the begining and stood firm on keeping our own sterling system. Although Maggie Thatcher advocated many good schemes whilst being P.M this was not one of her better ideas as far as the British People are concerned. ( My opinion/view) Going back even further their was opposers in respect to the imigration laws in particular Enoch Powell who made certain predictions in his rivers of blood speech which is now considered to be racist, but his predictions have come true in many ways. http://www.martinfro...ers_blood2.html Edited June 17, 2012 by Caprelous
scothunter 12,609
Enochs speech was considered racist back when he said, Abd cost him his career at the time. Man was probably one of the best educated and clever men of politics at the time. The euros a mess unworkable and a huge money pit. Thing is like everything else the wont admit defeat, and the old cliche " I told you so" So thier solution is to throw copious amounts of cash in the pit, and hopefully by some miracle it will sort itself out. IMO the solution is to every nation to go back to running thier own affairs, yes we will all take a hit, but through time it will balance back out. Granted some nations Economy will inevietablely collapse, but that's the way it goes. Can worry about getting them back on thier feet, when we sort ourselfs out. Tbh I have no sympathy Greece and others like them. Pure f*****g greed and seeing the euro as a cash cow for thier own personal gain.

scothunter 12,609
Guess it could be construed as racist by some. I don't just common sense really. Thing is even back then there some things should not be spoken. Look at what he said, and what he predicted, I don't think many would disagree he wasn't far of the mark.
