Moles for dinner

Has anybody ever fed there ferrets on moles ?

A friend of a friend of mine is a pro mole catcher and has asked me if i want any trapped moles for my ferrets i have fed my ferrets on most things over the years except rats or feral pigeons but have never fed moles

Has anyone else tried there ferrets on trapped mole ?

Im sure i was told once that ferrets wont touch them, but i could be wrong, it happened once before...............

Never tried giving them a mole,but have tried them on shrews a few times(the cat killed them for fun on the meadows nearby and brought them home!)none would eat them ever they would mouth them and then drop them,i think its probably the texture of the fur??let us know how you go on Max ATB Dave

Feed them to the ferrets all the time just treat them as every other ferret food ,put the amount i require for a feed normally four in a poly bag freeze them and just defrost them before use never had any bother

Maybe i will give em a go then we regualy shoot a load in the barns and normaly chuck them on the bonfire we have just always avoided them due to the desease they are supposed to carry

I would argue the case that farm feral pigeons are total different disease wise from town feral pigeons
