what is your problem with her? every post i have sen from her is offering genuine advice that she has taken the time to sit down and write, and she has even emailed me chapters of her book without asking for anything and without really knowing me, you are giving a lot of stick, and if your not careful you will put off someone who is one of the best things about this forum.

I agree completely mate. If a dog isnt right penny will spot it and put it right. The knuckle dragging prick who started this thread and the last one very often "advises" people to either cull or dump a dog because he hasnt the first f*****g clue about stockmanship or decency.

 

Penny has helped me out a lot in the past too and believe it or not shes been bang on right each time. She is completely selfless and does her damndest to take time out help even tho she must have other things she could be doing.

 

As for the countrymans weekly, its £2.10! If you cant afford that you need to go and whinge at your JSA adviser. Its a lot more country person oreinted than the sun, mirror, times or any other paper, mag youle get from a newsagents. If you dont like the paper dont buy it. Yes it has its downsides and its shit contributers (DG) but at least its on our side. It has to be written in a sensible way as its going to be read by a lot of people who arent into the sport (antis) who we dont want to give any ammo.

No criteria we are all guests and the owner of the site has total control of threads content what you got to do is strike a balance between freedom of speech and slander in legal terms the the owner of THL could be liable to court proceeding if he/she does not try to control site content .

 

What I dont agree with is that high profile persons get better protection from slander than single members I know from personnel attacks on myself where in legal terms other member have slandered myself.

Ive read some good stuff from Penny regarding diets etc and a few other good write ups, she has passed on some good advice and given the heads up on valuable info, however i dont agree with everything she writes including the Fox write up, its up to you to take the good from the bad.

you have to read it or partly read it before you know if its any good, from what i read on the pulled thread no one was getting slagged, slandered or whatever you want to call it, everyone who writes in theses mags needs to be able to take critisism or they shouldnt be writing there in the 1st place, dont give advice on what you dont know,thats just my opinion

To be fair Baldocks said he knew nothing about fox dogs either but he still criticised Penny for the article? Maybe instead of taking whatever is wrote in books or mags as gospel you should maybe get out and do a bit..that way you will find out for yourselves how/what way things are done? ATB Andy.
