You will get varying opinions based on peoples own experiences of probably 1 or two dogs. I have one that I am happy with so far (nearly 1 year old). But I very much doubt that any of his stuff is a

A decent one entered right will never need the infusion of Bull blood to make it a better dog,a decent one entered wrong will show the shortcomings of the owner, who may wish to breed to a bullx to mak

been down to platts to line a bitch which didnt want lining was very impressed with his set up and his knowledge what a geniunely decent bloke he did work his dogs hard at one point but not so much now even thou he does get out with some of them to make sure they still work right he uses dave sleights greyhounds on his deerhound bitches what bothers me because i like the deerhounds is this bonding and standoffish attitude

Thanks for the info about the set up etc..

The stand offish thing was a big deal for me, I am used to puppies wanting to play fight constantly and being a lot bolder and more forward with people where as this one seemed not to be too arsed and only wanted to play with adult dogs. He is not the sort of dog you shout at and once i adopted a more ignore the bad encourage the good type approach he was away. ITs strange though as he was never shy with other dogs and or the bits of game he has seen its just with people. That shy trait though may well have come from the greyhound dam that was nothing to do with dave platts kennels

I agree lapin, think shy aloof thing comes fae the dam

It may well do mate, thats three out of the litter that were/ar like that. The one that the breeder kept is a bit soft around people as well like mine was apparantly screaming when put on the lead at first haha. Mine used to do the same when I would look at his feet the big woofter!
