Malt 379
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17836624 Thoughts? Can't see this mess ending anytime soon... My brother started plastering on a job this week for £1.40 a metre.. Prices are going back to 1980s rates but the cost of living keeps on shooting up.. Are we ever going to get out of this? Are we ever going to get out of this? certain areas of the economy are on the up, but others are at there lowest, construction being the hardest hit, given this industry accounts for a fair porportion of the economy then untill this is sorted then the economy will not move forward. scothunter 12,609
I didnt believe we were getting out of it. I can't see us getting out head over the parapet for at least another decade. I might add that's if we don't stop throwing vast amounts of money at daft things. Olympics in the middle of world finance meltdown. Common sense if your skint you don't get luxuries how many times did we hear that when we growing up.

poacher3161 1,766
Those who think were comeing out of it must be on a different planet to the people i work with and meet everythings going up bar wages and stoping the working tax credits for part time workers who work under 24 hours a week is imho one of the biggest injustices this goverment has done for people who are prepaired to take any work and amount of hours.
