Guest long-tail
beauty mate the pair of the credit to you how is it getting on out in the field? atb mick....... very well considering her age, done more daytime bushing with her this year than iv ever done with lurchers in the past,i used to think lamping was the be all end all but it aint, very switched on bitch that quickly learnt, works well with the bushing dog keeps tabs on him at all times when he in cover getting herself in right places for a bolt, never really had that running up and down like a mad thing going on with her once she realised what a rabbit was and where it was likely to come from, just getting her out and about daily seeing a bit.i think you can get stuck in a rut if like me you spent nearly twenty years lamping, much more rewarding mooching about daytime seeing what you can put up gets them hunting up and using their nose, cant beat it, Edited April 7, 2012 by long-tail 3 Quote Link to post
