PlasticJock 539
Hi all, just bought a brilliant book called 'Self Sufficiency; a practical guide for modern living' by Liz Wright. Very good book, all the usual info but would be a good reference for anyone to have. Also, who wrote the other book about self sufficiency (the famous one)? Is it recommended? Cheers. David K 172
John Seymour's book is an excellent reference for all those things you need/want to be doing from growing your own veg to building your wind powered generator and everything inbetween. http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-New-Complete-Book-Self-Sufficiency/dp/1405345101/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1333154070&sr=1-

I believe the first print was around the early 70's, the copy I have was reprinted in 92, myself and a mate are looking at feeding ourselves with great free bait, in turn freeing up disposable income to turn into beer tokens (if we can)
