undisputed 1,664 Posted March 17, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2012 Nice matie..them water rails can be a bit shy I only arrived at the hide 5mins before it made an appearence....the guy that was in with me had been there since 6.30am .....I have found what is potentially a nesting site for Kingfishers. It was coming and going at the one spot but quite awile I couldn't get near for shot and the embankment is at the side of a public footpath...I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can find a way to get within reasonable distance without disturbing it.
