TOPPER 1,809 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 why oh why is everybody so obsesed with lungworm , its very rare in this country but vets have jumped on the bandwagon and are scareing people into treating something they havent and are not likely to get just to keep the dollars rolling in , you soon know if a dog has lungworm as its breathing will be heavy and you ll see droplets of blood on its nose , breathing can be very laboured when out exerciseing its easy treated using ivermectin based products and antibiotics 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

TOPPER 1,809 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 99% of the time will have a resporitory infection but they ll tell you its lungworm so as to charge you a fortune for treatment , i know of a vet that told this women her dog had lungworm and he would have to keep it in for a few days then sent it home with a course of novaclav 250 mil tablets for 5 days and charged the silly bitch £632 dick turpin or what !!!
