I have a small aquarium with red tiger Oscars.My tank is only 3ft in length with bog wood to try and imitate there nature environment as they come from the Amazon river basin.Don't take much to make up a tropical set up.I have two fluval filters and heater.Read up on the species of fish you are wanting to keep as i had a couple of small tetra's in with the Oscars witch became dinner for them.

Dont know how to put pictures up but been keeping Discus a lot of years now................your be best to base your tank on what type of fish your looking to keep.....species tank or community..,,if your having real plants or fake.....compatability,water conditions,equipment etc etc.....

They are also violent, so can be noisy at night while they beat the shit out of each other, and they eat a lot.

 

 

Pain in the arse really, but stunning to watch

Honestly Jai, they are a mare ! hahaha they are amazing to watch, but they are not beginers fish for sure, fekin hooligans

 

I`ve two synos in there as well and they are just as bad, It`s like a Chelsea away day in there at times !!

is that a juwel rio tank moll? had a lovely little reef setup in one of them once if i can find the pics of when it nwas mature i put them up. yes i know he said tropical lol

 

No Staff, it's an Aqua one 550 cube.

rake about know whaed t your saying about a mare mate had nothing but trouble when i started to many fish to soon lost a lot of fish by being to keen ,had a chance of marine setup recently but seems to much of project...all best,,,ps nice setup moll :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:
