dogs drop you in it lol

Recommended Posts

Had a great walk to day 3 hours with the dogs, didnt see anybody till the last 10-15 mins. The dogs were having a good mooch about, Bryn was knocking the odd rabbit out for Tod, and both were chasing tree rats lol. just before i got home , which was about 15 mins away, i seen these 2 couples walking towards me down the lane. Bryn was by my side, but Tod was still mooching in the field. They asked me what type of dog was Bryn, i said colliex lurcher. They said is it a hunting dog that kills rabbits and hares, i sad no dont think he as ever seen a rabbit lol. Just then Tod comes out of the edge with a feckin big black+white tom cat dead in is jaw, with feckin blood on his face :wallbash: . They were in shock so was i, feck knows where he killed it. The bloke said is that yours, as it should have muzzle its a dangerous dog. I said look at the cat its feral , a big rough looking bugger its (wild). I was lucky really , as Tod norm locks on to any thing he puts his jaw on, and he dont loose, but this time he just dropped it on the floor by me feet. I put them both back on the lead and walked away, they just looked at me but i think they were still in shock lol As said dogs drop you in it .??

When I had my first lurcher, I met a lad in the woods near me with a dog who turned out to be litter mate to mine. I asked him if it worked, he said 'course it does, doesn't yours? I said noooooo he's just a pet, probably couldn't catch a cold. Then he loped out of the woods with bunny and dropped it live at my feet. I'm sure the look on my face was priceless (shock, mixed with extreme excitement and pride since that was the first thing he'd ever caught). Didn't really drop me in it but he did make me look a plonker

My greyhound picked up a cat in a kid's park once and did several laps of honour with it squealing and it's claws hooked into her face. In front of about a dozen kids and their parents. She wouldn't drop it till I'd shouted 'good lass, fetch it here' several times, which made me look like an evil biatch. Lesson learned there too: no more letting dogs off in built up areas.

Gotta love 'em.
