jarv5116 57
If a pup has never been outside then you have to expect some noise! try starting the pup just an hour or two at a time first.. then a bit longer and longer but still use the water when you need to. Like i said there is nothing worse than a wake up early. You got to be cruel to be kind sometimes. Terriers are hard headed little fuks an stubern as hell!! and they need to no there place otherwise they will ruel you. I took on a russell bitch a few years ago and her first night here was her last as she barked all night non stop so she went back,, but as a ruel you can turn a pup the right way with the right handling. I agree mate, adult dog 1 or 2 nights is maybe acceptable cause dog in strange place. But after that your neighbours patients starts wearing thin. Quote Link to post

I have had the same thing and have borrowed a remote triggering one that you can press. It has sorted mine out along with the hose pipe pointed at the front of the run. Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
Yep ones of those that you described.tryed hose pipe but the twat lays in his straw filled bed howling.if he wasnt the only terrier I had he would be gone...pissed off because im sure he will make the grade.even after two hrs out within 5 minutes the b*****ds crying out Quote Link to post

I think some of the cheaper ones are a bit weak in the shock they give Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
I would rather spend money if it cures him then get another dog, besides him being vocal I like the bugger Quote Link to post

The one I have is fairly old and i think the people i borrowed it off payed £180 for it about ten years ago not sure what they would cost but i would get the best one you can afford especially if it has a shock power setting Quote Link to post

Big bald beautiful 1,231
done all that, fired dry dog food at him, poked him with my stick, tied him up and every time he howled wet him with waterpistol..worked until he is back in his bed. its as if he was always indoor and ive dumped him out side, he is very clingy when running in the yard .
