Jobs when your older

im an electrical apprentice at the moment ive got my last exam coming up soon and i bloody hate it, long hours of stressfull work for f*k all, so when i pass soon im going to move into the country in a little caravan and go on the scrap- bollocks to the lot of them! try doing that itll be a laugh ;)

 

Why dont you start out on your own once you got all the exams done? The sparky we use only works doing private work mostly now and makes good money from it :thumbs:

yer good idea, just going to take it slow to make sure theres enough time for the dogs and horses, lifes too short for working too hard

when i left school the youth training schemes(yts) were all the rage,a lot of my mates went on em in various things,like plumbers,mechanics,sparkys etc,a few mates stuck at it and are still doing the same job but the majority of em jacked it in,because of the £27 a week wage :icon_eek: i know it was in the 80s but it was still feck all,luckily my brother got me a job with a drainage firm,were i was earning 3 times that and now 22 yrs on i run my own small drainage company and there will always be drains to sort out :yes: and where theres muck theres brass :thumbs:

yts lol oh those were the days.thatchers kids. i got a record token of the bank for opening first account. for my 30 quid.i got ma bus fares craigy haha

aye, i got the record token an all :laugh: but which one did you spend it on :hmm: i spent mine on, strangeways here we come by the smiths :thumbs:

sold it to another lad for 3quid if i mind right lol. also  i ca n mind once i had 63p in the account and couldnt f****d walking home.so went into draw it out . the cashier was all snooty how would you like your cash!quickly my bus is coming.cheeky cow.

I was the same didn't have a clue didn't want to do college career advisors the most useless people that exist ended up ground working helped an engineer he went on the piss I jumped in and at 19 was the engineer for the Ikea southampton now 23 easy job don't get covered in ship and the money brilliant dive in try things best thing i ever donep
