PhilProp 51
Give a child a lamp and a dog it would catch a rabbit, however give them a snare sure they would not have the same result. I tottally agree with you on that one. It really annoys me that all the young lads or youngish lads get tard with the same brush. I.e poachin n nickin stuff. Breakin fences. Running stock n jus being generally stupid. Back to the main thing i am now 23 n i have n can use most snares affectively, traps etc as i got raught by my grandad who loves his field sport and i think the young lads are jus missing guidance from the start or they realli are as stupid n careless as they seem. Country Joe 1,411
Has anyone ever put blood into a line for it not to have panned out as they hoped and had to outbreed from that cross or went back to the previous blood, if this makes sense? Just an answer to your question, and no offence meant....but how many on here actualy have a "line" ? I'd say about 90% or more on here haven't !! I've thought for many years about my own "line", but at the end of the day, not bothered, I can get a well bred pup any time, without trying to go down the Plummer, Handcock, Burrell route ! There are lads who HAVE got their own lines, and certainly don't need to advertise them ! Cheers. Chart, I wish i could find my line, i only bred of my Whippet x Bedlington called Rag once, to a whippet, i lost all contact with the Pups owners bar one, who had a pure White bitch called Snowy, she was only bred once, to a Whippet called socks but the owner, also had no contact, I have tried to find any dogs with this breeding but the trail has went cold.
