Money doesn't grow on trees - dogs!

Recommended Posts

Got the whippet a posh bed for in the house because with her being injured and always in the cage I thought I'd better get her something good. Paid just under £30 for it.

Then the wife comes in from work with another one of these £30 beds for the lab 'you can't leave her out'.

Got the baby some trainers £20 (this is going somewhere, bear with me haha)

Thick carpet for the conservatory for the dogs to lie on £25

Recently bought bin and my workboots........

Put the dogs in the conservatory while we went out, pup in the cage as usual. Came home........

Pup had ripped her £30 bed apart, dragged the labs £30 bed next to her cage and bit the stitching off one end, got hold of one of the babys trainers and ate the 2 Velcro straps, pulled 2 blinds in and had a chomp on them, somehow stretched one of her skinny fecking leg outthe cage and knocked over the bin which must have hit the dog bowl and cracked! When I came in and was like 'what the fcuk!' the lab pissed all over the new carpet and then the pup grabbed one of my workboots and ran outside with it playing in the flower patch/ horse shit pile.

Expensive trip for the 45mins I was out. Lessons learnt. Tip.... Make sure everything is out of reach from the pups extending legs (she can get them out the bars of her cage up to her shoulder)

So now the pups in the cage on some sheets and will be getting a £1.99 dog bed out of the pound shop in the morning. Pups will be pups. The little sh!te haha

10k on a dog bed? that is seriously unreal!

It WAS a nice one  If anyone passes the shop pop in and see if its still for sale :hmm:

if I had 100 billion quid in the bank I still wouldn't spend more than about 20 or 30 quid on a dog bed, what's the f'ckin point.
