Sorry to hear your bad news, I had a english bull that ate a dead starling, ate his food that day but went off it the next, went down hill that day so called the vet out, he said it was gastroenteritis and and injected through a vein in his front leg to by-pass his stomach, said if he pulls through the night he'll be OK, he was gone within 3 hours.

Yeah the two staffs that live indoors are well up on everything , my lurcher she was kennelled with is just due a booster , not sure if it was parvovirus think it was more gastroenteritis to be honest she had her first jab on Monday but shed been kept outside before god knows , luckily at my vets they give four weeks free insurance , when you get first jab or I'd of been 600 pound .down aswell , gutted tho was hoping she was gona be a cracker , it was

had same thing here, bastarding parvo, lost a couple of pups. stayed with them day and nite trying to save them.

I would always inject bitch about 2weeks before she due for parvo, keeps the pups safe until there 8weeks old then do the pups, also do the bitch for worms,in saying that i have'nt bred a litter of pups in about 10year,last litter was labs.
