Baghdadnights 150
When I had a mishap at work that cut half me nose of never felt any pain. Knew it was bad though by my mate turning deathly White and the amount of blood pouring out me face. Sometimes I think the brain stops the pain to stop the body going into shock

gnasher16 31,602
Sometimes I think the brain stops the pain to stop the body going into shock Thats exactly what happens....the human body is still the most unbelievable piece of equipment even in todays hi tech world. Had a few injuries myself that when i look back i wonder how i took and accepted the pain......yet stubbing my toe on a door and im rolling around the floor like a big f****n girl ....still one of the most painful things i remember was an anaesthetic injection down the back of the thumb nail Edited November 6, 2011 by gnasher16
