Ghosts? again

Recommended Posts

It isn't easy for me to post this :icon_redface: , as I've poured scorn on other posts about ghosts existing, but I'm struggling to find a logical explanation for this.

The background to the story is that Foxes regularly walk alongside a river on one of my patches, but there's one spot that they've always seemed to steer clear of, making a detour out into the field before returning to the bank further upstream. This was very evident the last two winters, by the ammount of tracks everywhere else except this one spot, which was always clear of even Rabbit or Bird tracks, just pure virgin snow. I've shot a few Foxes in this spot, and whilst there I've never seen, heard or felt anything unusual.

Last week I set a camera trap there to see if there were any Foxes about now, and I collected the camera last night. I'd originally set the camera facing more into the field, but the wind had moved it to face more towards the river bank, and after it'd moved, this was the only photo captured. A Fox is clearly visible turning to run away, but in the background, above the river, there seems to be a 'face'.

According to local history, a little over 100 years ago, some young girls were playing in the river and one drowned near to this spot.

You might laugh, I always ridiculed everyone who thought ghosts exist, but what if it is the tormented ghost of the poor young girl, unable to find peace in the afterlife?

it's a f'ckin ugly girl if it is!!!

send TB over there for a couple of weeks, she looks his type!
