first outing of the season

me and my pal set out on the first outing of the season all the excitement been builing up over the summer as you all must of had that feeling. well i would like to say it was a easy day but we got to the first set nice easy grass 15 holer but the holes are well spread out so we put the box just off the set 2 jill down and 2 were still in the box. great start bolted 4 then one jill was working the set and we ant seen ot of the other jill so locator out mk1 i might add picked one jill up straight away which we didnt dig as she was still on the move and as time passed we took her out and boxed her up but we couldnt find the other jill as we was sweeping the only bleepin we was getting was from the box were are other ferrets were boxed so thinking nothing of it we sat hour went by sweeped again then i said to my pal to take the ferrets and work the next set while i wait for my jill so he did and low and behold i had a sweep of the box and it pick her up same place were we had put the box well school boy error i wont be making soon let me tell ye easy dig about 3 ft and 2 rabbits in a block end. As the day goes on we get a fair few bolters and have a great day ending up with 20 but theres still a few creases need ironing out but hopefully there wont be many mastakes in the season to come

Well done matey! Don't worry about the school boy error. Worst one i have ever done was out with another member off here, one of us each side of the hedge, ferrets in. . . . .waiting and nothing happening, decided to have a look with the locator and couldn't pick up anything, started going up and down the hedge and getting a bit worried and after a good half an hour i said, wonder where your stinkers are mate, and he said "my stinkers???" Both of us had assumed the other had entered their ferrets on their side. . . . All the ferrets were still in the boxes. Whoops!
