wirral countryman 2,110 Posted September 15, 2011 Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 I used to keep pure bred german short haired pointer's,very hard guard dog and never seen mine beat by anything,killed foxes with ease and endless stamina,the german field trial champions have to kill and retrieve a fox over a five bar gate to achieve this status,the first cross may not have enough speed but a 3/4 cross would be a good all round dog as they are very intelligent dogs that train easilly,all the best with your litter,WM Quote Link to post
