weasle 1,119
After reading a couple of threads on here lately about deerhoundx grey and whippetxbedlingtons,I got to thinking were would the beddie and deerhound blood be coming from,I wouldnt fancy trying to find a genuine working dog of either. And would be very cautious of buying either cross for that reason.so were do you go then? While thinking about this one of the only dogs i could really think of that are really tested and worked on things that would be relavent to a lurcher, was a patterdale.Yet i Have never seen or heard of a pattxgreyhound.Have you.Why not? So come on show me your pattx greys Quote Link to post

WILF 49,811
There are still some very good Deerhounds out there and dogs with deerhound blood that are also very, very good ........as for the other patt/grey thing, utter nonsense. 2 Quote Link to post
North east finest 105
well as for it been nonsence ive been told that years back the old timers crossed decent hard working earth dogs with greys for foxing lurchers. if i ever x my terrier with a grey and the pup turned out decent youll be the first to no wilf lol Quote Link to post
WILF 49,811
haha cheers mate............just dont see the point, f**k me its easy enough to get Beddys to yap never mind anything with Pat in it, even if such a thing was atempted which imho is a complete waste of time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I think Weasle is at the wind up. North east finest 105
haha more than likely mate. i can see were your coming from but in theory if the beddy grey works for plenty of people why not a pat grey!!! on the other hand forget i ever posted on this thread because just saying the word patterdale grey sound absolutly rediculous and i can imagine peoples face when they ask what x is your lurcher and you say its a first x mate....... first x patterdale greyhound  Quote Link to post
WILF 49,811
I have 2 pats out in the kennel now, and you would not want those annoying little c**ts as a big dog! lol Quote Link to post
weasle 1,119
haha cheers mate............just dont see the point, f**k me its easy enough to get Beddys to yap never mind anything with Pat in it, even if such a thing was atempted which imho is a complete waste of time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I think Weasle is at the wind up. Not really a wind upJust thinking aloud, plenty of whippet cross terriers about,If i was looking for a pup and knew were there was a litter i would at least go and see em.They could be some strange f**kers alright.BUT at least you would be adding to the greyhounds desire to hunt, instead of diluting it for good feet or pretty silver coat. Shall i call them patterhounds or greydales Quote Link to post
weasle 1,119
and would you put the patt on a table/chair for the mating just curious Stranger things have happened,I bet the randy little terrier would be up for it. Quote Link to post
