well lads as a few of you will know i got a lamp, battery catapult, rucksack and filter taken of me by the by the plod 8 months ago while out lamping i was not seen on land i was on the road when i was pulled. well after 8 months im finely getting it all back with no further action. so if you get any of your stuff taken by the plod just keep at them every week and you will get it back. every one said to me i will never see it again it has taken 8 months off pestering them but ive finely got it back.

would have been a good idea for the lamp and battery but the catty was home made so is irreplaceable. but ill remember that in case it happens again

had loads of gear taken off us by the plod back in the 80s we just let them keep it as if we werent bothered ,it used to piss them off when we said"we"ll just buy some more tomorrow" some coppers were ok with us others were dick heads but thats life .i wouldnt change my young poaching days for nowt it was a great era for me and me mates [north east]

Spent part of the night in the cells at Ripon many years ago.

Charged us with poaching rabs, (the partridges had already gone out the van window )

When they let us go later in morning we had our lamps back and also a couple of fishing rods that were

stashed behind the Police Station office door :laugh:

Ended up with £30 fine and £5 costs

my lad had his 400 pound airgun taken of him .whilst it was in a gun case in the boot of his car in his home town .when we got it back they had cracked the breech and knackered the sights on it .i had a bag of nets took of me .when i got my nets back they were rotten in the bag .i had a catty took of me at another time .when i got that back the forks had been split .im more than prepared to take em to court and get comp out of em the next time .they take any of my gear from me .without any evidence or just to mess me about .ive got a solicitor in worcs that specialises in sueing the police and are readily available to the working class as well as the better off .if any one gets this sort of grief from the law contact nick turner of russell and co .holland house .church street malvern worcs wr14 2ah telephone 01684892000. they offer a country wide service and are shithot . and dont forget when you get your gear back check it all over at the station and if its damaged dont go out from there without logging the complaint

had 2 air guns taken off us in the 80s when we went to get em back the desk officer gave us 3 and a load of nets no one had been to collect them after 2 year and he was sick of the sight of em -- made me laugh when we got arrested they said the guns would be taken to the armuory for same keepin -- it was a filing cabinet .. my brother robbed the officers hat out the back of the car -- he`s still got it ,it hangs in his bar in spain

i never did get my a,rifle back, just the scope, then a few years later they took a catapault and our nets,one of the lads was a traveller and he lost the most nets, i did get everything in the end,but where tom and his family went i dont know, i still have his nets and catapault from 30yrs ago.
