blan89 159
sell working breeds? it doesnt make any sense to me,a terrier or lurcher wont be sold for much more than £100,whereas i've seen KC ( even non-registered) dogs be sold for a hell of a lot more. Born Hunter 17,909
Most of em arnt out to make big money, they just have some wierd obsession with breeding pups and sell what ever they dont want for the going rate. I really dont get it but thats just some peoples mentality. I've heard people say they believe all bitches deserve to have at least one litter, that the terrier is a f****r for fighting other dogs so will easily battle a fox, that the dogs got a top 5 gen ped so the pups will be decent (even though the parents were less than average) etc etc. These people dont realise what they are doing is just plain f*****g wrong. I've even heard a so called dog man say that because he couldnt home a bitch pup he had left he was gonna drop it in at the arsepca center!!!! It makes me sick. FFS only last week I heard someone say that a terrier pup they have thats seen f**k all and will only be used for the odd rat around the yard and looks like shit will be bred but only to a working terrier so they fetch a few quid! FightTheBan 1,147
They are in it for the Image. Pure and simple. The like the idea of working dogs but theres just too much hassle involved. Its easier to lie through your teeth and buy and sell shit pretending all the while that you are a hero. Same as terriers, the lads that get right into the showing, love the idea but cant be f****d with the hassle. FTB

As much as I love puppy's and training them, if they all came trained and ready to go I would be a happier man. Let alone looking after a litter of little shit making machines. In all the years I've had dogs, I have had 3 litters and was glad to see the back of them. I just don't understand the logic of these people.

The sport to them is buying and selling and how much shite they can fit out the hole in their face. You hear all the lads talking about running this, digging that and in reality they couldn't dig worms for a sick sparrow. It would be laughable if it werent so depressing. To me pups are hassle and although I enjoy seeing dogs grow and progress to me it is a means to an end. To peddlers it is the end. f*****g horrible wierdos. fcuktheban 140
I'm sure peddlers aren't just peddlers, they have other sport such as thieving dogs to order so they don't have to put in any effort of caring for the animal or paying for it's grub. KC reg people can churn out the pups as well as the rest of them but if they are smart and want to keep making the money they take care of the pups and their dogs. They are given the great title of puppy mills.
