Lab 10,979
Do you think its all just media hype then gnasher...I for one think that Haye is playing up for the cameras, he's a show man. I think he has what it takes to back that up so good on him. On the other hand i think Vladimir is professional and has more respect, i think he has a deep hatred for Haye after his stint with the brothers heads cut off. I genuinely think he wants to seriously hurt Haye......if not then he will be starring in films all over the world cause his acting skills are awesome..... Genuine hatred ...the sports becoming more like wwf wrestling every day !.....they dont hate each other, they are professional sportsman.....these are the days of pay per view tele ......fights are no longer limited to ticket sales as regards money ......nowadays promoters dont need to promote the fight the fighters do it themself,if theres not a grudge then a grudge is created.....you dont seriously think an experienced world heavyweight champion fighter is going to be upset and bothered about a comic picture of him and his brothers heads cut off do you......its to form a grudge thats all.....it will get more people forking out to watch this " grudge match " rather than just another everyday boxing match. Maybe your right........just the look in his eyes tells me different, film career shortly around the corner it is then. Are you saying that some sportsman at the highest level cant have a seriously disliking for one another... I'm sorry but your wrong...
bird 10,014
i thought it was abit corny to be honest. maybe, i know its all about selling tickets, either they are very good actors, or they dont really like each other . But i think Haye will knock him out early, or if he gets reckless he could loose and get knocked out him self. Who is the best puncher, with good ko's .?
judge2010 196
its like fookin eastenders. Tyson on his day would have murdered them both at the same time.

Are you saying that some sportsman at the highest level cant have a seriously disliking for one another... I'm sorry but your wrong... They probably dont like each other.....but hatred ....do you think Muhammed Ali hated everyone he called a bum ? or gave a dirty look and said he would knock out ? Havent you ever heard the saying " boxing is like show buiseness with gloves "..........of course they are acting up,if boxing was only watched by true fans of boxing it wouldnt get on television....a true boxing fan just wants to see who the better boxer is.....a person not really into the sport 100% wants to see someone get sparked, they want to see the dramatics....and this nonsense all adds to the flavour. Well i suppose we will never know until either 1 brings a book out.... I'd like to see a good boxing match but i'd be suprised to see on at this weight. Lots of hugging and holding probably with the ref diving in every two seconds.... Lost interest in boxing now, a slight cut and the fight is stopped and all that nonsense. Hows it spelt then,f**k it i dont know or much care ....It was Ali who started all this basic disrespecting of an opponent, getting in their face etc.....It was Ali who started all the staredowns when the ref gives his instructions, nobody really did that before Ali...........I believe until he became a loon later in his career Tyson was always quite respectful of opponents both before and after fights, and no he never really went in for all the nonsense he was a bit of a throwback in that way. The reality is you could probably count on 1 hand the amount of real genuine grudge fights there has been at the highest level of the sport over the years.....like i say, often these days if a grudge isnt there then ones created,it generates interest. lanesra 4,007
Only ever went to 1 pro fight , white hart lane when Michael Watson fought Chris Eubank , what a performance by both men , though tradgedy struck with Watson gettin severely injured , very sad , the era of Benn , watson , eubank and Lloyd Honeygan was brilliant for British boxing , few lads i know heading to this fight in Germany i think , i think Hay will beat him he is an athletic man for a heavy weight , though im not really clued up on boxin . Lee85 44
Personally I like Haye's cockyness and I genuinely think they dislike each other judging by their facial expressions and body language, I hope Haye beats him and I think he's right about they belts need to leave them two, I think he's a boring boxer and hope haye does the job!
mossyh07 64
IMO any man who refuses to shake an opponents hand whether it be in business or sport is not worth his salt, whether it's for show or not. No matter what sport is being played the handshake is used as a mark or respect, and any sportsman without respect isn't a sportsman at all. And from what I've seen from my own life experiences in sport is that the lads with no respect usually are the ones that end up worse off in the end. Just my opinion mind.
