DogMagic 461
As has been said, sawdust aint a good thing but shavings and straw are spot on. They will do the rest themselves. Quote Link to post
The one 8,589
A good bed of shavings is plenty they will absorb the blood ect and be fine till the kitts are moving about and crapping on it Quote Link to post
MikeTheDog 153
Why do people put towels and fecking pillow cases in for the kits?.... A good handful of clean straw is all that's needed and less chance of a kit getting lost in the folds of a towel. Remember to have some fresh meat ready for the kits when they start crawling about the nest at about three weeks old or sooner. Quote Link to post
Moe 108
i would not put any type of cloth items in for nesting as kits can get tangled up and suffocate, same as with pups you can never be to careful.and as for sawdust i have never lost a ferret to sawdust poisoning. Quote Link to post
