Why does people stick photo's up on this site of their terrier's with a dead fox along with it,what does it prove.

just tell me if im wrong but are you not proud of your terrier when youve dug to him sucessfull working his quarry? because i am, we all like photos, i think every one who has been ratting at one time or another has taken a photo of the dogs with the massive haul of rats in front of them........ 1000 rats is worth one fox imo

It proves nothing at all. Just because someone takes a pic of a dog and a fox it certainly doesn't prove the dog had a hand in the demise of the fox. Far from it. I have heard it mentioned that one well known now deceased hunter and author photographed his lurcher with fox carcases from the freezer to illustrate one of his books and that his lurcher did not kill the majority of the foxes photographed in the book. Whether that's the case or not I don't know. Personally if it is true I am disappointed because I was a fan!!!!

Go on to the shooters gallery and see the PINNED thread of mutilated foxes, lurcher forum with hauls of rabbits, shotgun boys with piles of pigeons. Its a hunting site get over it.

Are the terrier lads not allowed to show their succesful days out ?
