Here's a few pics of my 3/4 bred Collie Greyhound. He's my third Hancock puppy - the first two I had way back in the 80s and 90s were by Taffy and Richard Jones. I had some of the best fun I've ever had with my two old dogs - the Taffy pup is my avatar pic and was the best dog I've ever had. This new pup is 7 months old next week. He's sired by Kubla and is 25 and a quarter inches at the shoulder and weighs 54lbs. He is fanatical about retrieving, jumps like you'd expect and want a dog to jump. And I'm sure he'll provide both myself and my son Jack with some great sport in the future.

There was some good lurchers bred out of Taffy and Richard Jones i.ve heard that there some good dogs coming out of Kubla

Yeah - both my Taffy pup and my Richard Jones were good dogs. The Taffy was the best of the two - as brave as they come and he was a great single handed fox dog. My Richard pup broke his back leg when he was 5 in a freak accident and I had him put down. My Taffy died in 97 aged 10 and I have been without a lurcher until 2010 when my son and I travelled to Sutton Coldfield to buy our Kubla pup. I think he'll be a good dog.

I love the Colliex always had them and always will they my type of lurcher they was the first type of lurcher to be bred by man thank God for the poachers of the old

Yeah me too - I wouldn't have anything else - bitter experience when I was a boy taught me two things always but a puppy and never a 'made dog' and make sure it's a collie/greyhound. I love looking at other running dogs and some of the bull Xs are totally stunning. But when it comes down to it I'd have collie/greyhound every time. Not everyone's cup of tea but for me they fit perfectly.
