b*****d f*****g insurance folk, just got an estate to replace my truck and tried to swap my insurance over - apparently a pick up is a 'commercial vehicle' so they wont swop it and so i lose a grand having payed for a year up front.

Surely they need to pay you back the unused months like the tax disc do? Trade and standards mate then the f*****g papers, what company is it?

IF THEY WERE BOTH TAXED THE SAME IE PRIVATE LIGHT GOODS THERE SHOULD,NT BE A PROBLEM IVE SWAPPED MINE IN THE PAST,

take it up with the insurers ombudsman

dont be so sure i canceled the insurance a van a while ago the policy only cost £128 was paying it monthly and had made 6 payments the robbing c*nts tried to charge me £130 to cancel it :no:

they asked me if i wanted to pay it by carrying on the direct debit , i said no and then the cheeky feckers said where shall we send the bill, i told them anywhere they fecking liked as i had no intension of paying it :feck: swinton insurance group it was :censored:

That just reminded me, Budget tried charging me 40% of my policy to cancel once a few years back! :blink: They got told to :whistling: for it... :yes::thumbs:
