The light started to fade. I waited, listening to the owl hooting in the wood! Then I saw a pair of ears. Bolt upright, 35 yards away! I lined up the Richter Optik. Breathed out slowly, got it line up, perfectly, I knew Ken was loaded, powered up, zeroed in! I concentrated. I pulled the trigger, the trigger mechanism clacked and there was a beautiful thwack! Bunny a foot in the air and it disappeared, up in the air, down, and it went! Invisibun? No, Mole had forgotten the position of his quarry. Bun went up, back and then went down a damned ditch into got knows how many feet of primordial green slime that stank of sheep, horses and possibly pig crap! It disappeared slowly beneath the surface scum! Mole was more than a tad upset! :wallbash: My first real bun kill had a burial at dyke! Ken was perfect, what a weapon! What a muppet for shooting on the ditch edge! I cannot believe it. Well the rabbit had a christian burial! Abide with me and a .22 slug salute! Quote Link to post

It's only taken you near half a dozen rifles and scopes but, seems you've found one rig that works Ken?!!! (I worry for you mate, I really do!) Shoot 'em up hard and lube your ammo, mate, otherwise Ken's 'breach' may well be left chaffed and sore and we wouldn't want that now, would we??!! Edit to add... The Richter is not as hot as the Hawke or the Tasco in low light though, they are better dusk scopes! I could have taken that bunny with The Doctor, maybe that would have had less impact on it lol! But I will return tomorrow and have another go! I might shoot from inside the dry ditch this time, reduce profile even more, just make a bit of noise clearing it out though so when it comes to dusk, no noise! Quote Link to post
