always have a bottle of recharge in the bag just in case dogs that are very fit drink very little water

nice one johnnie, even super fit boxers stop for water every 3 mins, as for choclate in dogs being bad am not sure, but its better than nowt nd i dont think it would hurt a working dog,as much as it would to give it a dog every day that dose nothing  well thanks for your replys.

same as said you should know where there is water for the dogs to drink and for taking them out during the day and them dyin dont go out when its warm and if u do u dont run it like any other day go out early morning late evenings and chocolate is bad in big doses like a kilo of choc to do serious harm to a dog a choc biscuit aint no harm most things are ok in moderation if its bin a long night i normally give them a liver or 2 and heart off a rabbit

A squirty bottle is ok if your a clean freak i suppose. A puddle/lake/stream etc is good enough though. Just dont let them do much more then wet their mouth though because it will "blow" them and then you may as well just go home. As for chocolate, its a big NO, its poisonous to dogs. You CAN get doggy chocolate buttons from pet shops if you want to treat them.

If i think its going to be a big day/night, or if the terriers are doing alot of water work in the cold, i take lucozade sport or glucose water. Very seldom have to use it but when you need it you really need it so well worth keeping in the van
