Lurcher X Labrador

Recommended Posts

I've seen a big black lab tackle a coyote by himself off the back of my buddy's 4 wheeler and hold it til two other curs got there and they kilt it. I've also seen a big leggy yella lab run down a fox in less than a mile and kill it by himself. I'd actually say it werent hardly over a half mile but it was in snow. I seen a big black lab/cur cross pull a coon out a hole several times and shake the life out of it post haste. At the same time I seen a pitbullxcollie/airedale bitch last year sing like a little birdy after only a few coon.

Agreed. There is nothing wrong with a good working lab. I had one years ago as a beating and peg dog but whenever he got the chance he would kill foxes. Did it while beating in full view of the line of guns once, that took a bit of explaining! It never effected his mouth though, soft as a feather on shot birds but hard as rock when necessary.

I've always fancied the idea of a 3/4 labgrey but i think they would be too much wastage in the first cross litter to make it worthwhile.
