Danny R-10 16 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 I recently purchased a Twink Mk2 from Davy Thomas (Davy63) I origonally posted a letter with the money in it. Problem was it never arrived, so I then set up a pay pal account and did it that way. I duly received My Twink the next day as promised by Davy. I thought what a numpty for posting cash with a letter, and wrote it off to experience. Today at about 5pm I got a phone call off Davy who stated never guess what has just arrived, I said what he said your letter with the money in it for the Twink, only took 8 days first class, not bad from Surrey to Swindon. Anyway the point of the post is what an honest bloke and TOP MAN Davy is, he could easily have just pocketed the cash and I would have been non the wiser. We have some really Top Blokes on this forum, and in my opinion Davy is up there with the best of them, and I thought it fitting that I shared my little story with the members. We had a chat on the phone, and he asked me to put one on hold for him, which I did. He rang me this evening at 18.00hrs as promised, and we did the deal over the phone via Paypal. terrierjohn 49 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Share Posted January 22, 2011 where to start lol lamperman great guy to deal with and has also gave me a few things to help me out(a few decoys brand new a book called every mans hand and he has sent me a jack pyke cammo game bag for a prize for the young hunters comp ) rossyo8 great honest bloke who i bought my sons hw35 from and was very helpfull and the deal went as smooth as you could ask for there is a few who has bought nets from me aswell and all payments were there as quick as royal mail could be had a couple probs with royal mail but that was backlogs etc from xmas but the guy's who i dealt with were all spot dodger=quick payment bouncer=quick payment lodgesmith=quick payment lamperman=quick payment shaunpauls7=quick payment bleachtastesnice=another good bloke i'm sure i'm forgetting some but when i remember them i will get thier names up pickaxe=top bloke and to the ppl waiting for nets i just want to say sorry for keeping you waiting its been a bit hectic lately with personal reasons which has been limiting the time i can spend knitting nets and will have them ready asap cheers john Quote Link to post
