mouse 282
IF YOU COULD GO ON ANY 2 WEEK HOLIDAY AS A FAMILY WHERE WOULD YOU GO.LAD OF 9 AND DAUGHTER OF 12 AND PARENTS.I DONT MEAN A PACKAGE HOLIDAY OR THE CARRIBEAN,THEY WOULD HATE THAT. I MEAN SOMETHING DIFFERENT.WHALE WATCHING,SHARK FISHING ETC.FINALLY LOSING MY JOB AND MIGHT TREAT THE GANG.ANY IDEAS PLEASE.WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO AND SEE.NEVER HAD A LOT OF CASH AND NEVER WILL HAVE SO THIS IS A ONE OFF CHANCE.CHEERS MOUSE. Mouse, I always gotten the impression (from your posts) that any amount of cash would pale into insignificance in comparison to the riches you already have with your family. ;)Hope you have a great holiday. mate, all the money in the world would not replace what ive got with my family.as you have noticed everything i do ,be it digging, following hounds ,fishing ,beating or anything else always includes my kids.money would not change a thing but it would be nice to do something different.this easter coming we are going to stay in a wooden chalet in a forest in france which is on its own with no electric or any other home comforts and is a fair few miles from any village.fishing, walking and nothing else and we cannot wait.just us four and we cannot wait. mongoose 39
As already said I think Canada or NZ would take some beating....
gnasher16 31,225
By the sound of it you dont want to be sitting around sun soaking or farting about in theme parks. Dont know what your budget will stretch to but for weather and natural beauty Hawaii takes some beating....you could take some diving lessons beforehand to familiarise yourselves with equipment etc...i used to be shit scared of going underwater but after some lessons and a visit to Hawaii it was something myself and family wish we had done years ago....Maui has underwater volcanic craters you,ll see humpback whales, sea turtles etc i never realised there was such beauty underwater !!...its a great feeling and brings you real close to nature....Do some treks across Kilauea, see some gorgeous sunsets. If your fit enough get some bikes down the Haleakala crater that will get the blood pumping....and if you just want lazy sea and sun Waikiki beech is as good as it gets. We,ve been back a few times now,all told its a great all round family holiday you wouldnt come away dissapointed.
