my mechanic comes from england,he speaks fluent english as well,recently had his hours cut as the boss can employ polish on a weekend cheaper than him.How long will he be able to say he hasnt stopped working.

The point is these people are taking work from everywhere,ive seen it first hand.

I am not at all racist but this country cannot take anymore of these immigrants.

There is a polish family running an employment agency in southampton importing these f....rs from warsaw by the coachload twice a week, this family was allowed to stay after the war,look how they repay our hospitality.

I work in a busy general hospital.

 

4 years ago, the NHS were crying out for nurses, so they spent thousands interviewing, immigrating and employing hundreds of foreign nurses to help the British people out

 

These nurses were on, what was to believed, a maximum contract of 2 years(and 6 months tax free wages).

 

4 years on, they are still here - I know for a fact that many of these nurses refused to return to their own country, and are still here,joined by their families. :whistle:

 

The latest intake of newly qualified British student nurses in my area are f****d for a job - 25 of them to be exact.

 

The truth of the matter is, you try to export a foreign nurse - you are labelled a racist!

 

The Government have, in my opinion, made their bed. The only people that are suffering are the very people they (the Government) have spent thousands of pounds on training to be nurses, only to be told 4 years of damned hard work is a complete and utter waste of time.

 

Far for me to be opinionated, but is this not a teeny weeny bit unfair?

 

I swear to God that I am not an intentional racist, but by God, this Government is trying its damndest to make me one..................

i havent read all 44 posts so i dont know if its been already mentioned but my only problem at mo is findin work thats above min wage!!! even the old jobs where i was have had lay offs because there wasnt supposed to be enough work and then a month later they had hired foreign replacements at min wage... disgraceful!!!!

good point reynardhunter, theres a lake near me where all the locals go just to catch a few fish , wiegh em and put em back ,just for a bit of sport, but the other day i walked through there and at the far side of the lake there were a group of cosovoans with a knocked up bbq, and a couple of pike cookin up ,they looked like they had been there all night,i spoke to a couple of blokes about em and they were feckin fumin but what could they do,ive also heard stories of em catchin and eatin swans off the thames,and i forget where it was but someone caught a load of em eating one of his donkeys so i spose as long as your from an eastern european country you can hunt ,kill and eat whatever you like,its gettin worse!while im on the subject, where i live, to get into my road you go over a small bridge with a stream below,driving into my road a few weeks ago, about 11.00 at night i saw embers rising up from the stream,i thought kids had set light to somthing ,so i went down there and there was a gypsy looking couple speakin polish or russian,they were sort of crouched down next to a fire,but the woman was holding a baby that couldnt have been more than a couple of months old,i couldnt believe it ,it was feckin freezing,i went back and told my mrs ,as soon as she heard about the baby that was it ,on the phone,she had the firebrigade ,police and ambulance services there in about six minutes ,how much did that all cost?

i saw a small van today with polish number plates,it was loaded up to the roof with stuff,the arse end was nearly hitting the deck,and in the back window was a sign saying ,will work for food,what the feck!!!!!
