Mrs A.R.D 53
Iv found its not bad as a maintainance diet when mixed with meat and used in the summer. But i wouldnt feed it to young dogs or in the season. iv found not all dogs are suited to this but our terriers do fine on it. atb
J Darcy 5,871
I would never buy this food. Dogs are omnivours not grazers! But on a serious note i have heard troubles with twisted guts etc. If you get a bag FOC then fine, but mix it in with some good quality meal to use as a bulk. It often comes out how it went in anyway! THB you are bettter off with a cheapo greyhound mixer i would think. But, hey, its free so can't complain. But i wouldnt buy it.... Guest AngelicAcid
It suited one of my dogs a few years back, not saying it suits everyones, im not a fan of dry AT ALL, but this stuff had them looking and feeling in tiptop condition, i might even try again one day, and yes, RAW is the BEST, but this worked for me. I only used a small cupfull, and a 1lb or so of raw mince, and oil. they were happy.
Bulldogman 55
I have used this and vitalin royale for years with various breeds, but have always fed with raw tripe and soaked well. Never had a dog get the sh*ts from it, sometimes the opposite but very rarely. I use more in winter and stick to only tripe during warmer months. Only time my dog got the real runs was Eukanba at £45 a bag!!! Edited August 9, 2010 by Bulldogman
Mrs A.R.D 53
my lurcher is allergic to raw meat and bones it gives her really bad runs to the point where she passes blood and not just a little bit. she has to eat dry food and i have her on C.S.J lamb and rice wgf. where as the terriers will eat anything lol,.
