back on british soil for a week.....

hi guys!!! well im back for a week for a little rest and recoup before going back out to italy and as some of you knew i did try and sell the cannon before i went away but i guess luckily for me it wasn't snapped up and was sitting waiting at my mums house for me when i got back....

 

few rounds down the garden and it was EXACTLY the same as how i left it!! happy days so a quick call to my old permission and they were MORE than happy for me to come up as the rabbit population had boomed in my absence... felt nice to hear....

 

anyway withing a few seconds of me getting up there i could see what they ment!!!!!! there were everywhere!! so set up with the ghillie suit on and waited, was a good spot and within 15 minutes they started coming out, let about 4-5 settle down then took the closest one out, well aimed head shot and went down with out a twitch... the others didnt bolt and had another 2 so that was 3 in 1 minute..... wow, never done that before.... first time back in months and was glad i hadnt lost it!!

 

got another 3 excatly the same as before after relocating (like any good sniper.... ) and then another 2 ..... well it was just getting dark and i managed ( to the owners delight) to get those 2 in there garden.... and was rewarded with a bottle of wine which i was really chuffed about!! they didnt have to and it was a nice gesture

thanks guys its great to see new face on here but i am glad to see the faithfuls still on here!!

i have totally missed the hunting since being away but was so so happy that all the hold over, under, marksmanship principles came instinctively straight back!!
