Miner was an excellent dog in the ground,he could find his quarry in any earth no matter how awkward the place, would stay however long it took to get the job done and had enough brains to keep it in a stop-end with enough pressure without getting too much stick!!! Weather people like nuttalls or not, nobody could knock the dog for his working ability!!!!!! The dog produced some of the most consistant workers about at the time! Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
I have a daughter of Miner and Raven, she is 13 now and going deaf and senile (like her owner) and was never tested enough to warrent breeding so I had her spayed, she was an awesome ratter but not dug too enough, when working she was a bayer not mixer and has been the easiest dog to keep in over 20 years of keeping dogs, never shown any aggression to other dogs in a working situation and never made a peep in kennels, unlike the gobby shites in their now Quote Link to post
