Penda 3,355 Posted July 15, 2010 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 Lampings pretty easy for a dog to pick up my self i tend to take the younger dogs out with an older dog with more experience and for the 1st few times i like to let them watch when i do start i think its best that you only give them a couple of easy slips on there own til they have got the knack of it then you can up the amount of slips you give them depending on how much quarry is about Quote Link to post

_Sean_ 15 Posted July 15, 2010 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 bring them out with an experianced dog and hold them on the lead for the fist couple of nights and let them watch. then give them a few slips with the other dog so they get a few squeses of the rabbit and build them up from ther. it always worked 4 me Quote Link to post
fox-stoper 1 Posted July 15, 2010 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 i wouldnt run him until hes 12 months or so but i slipped my twice in day and he had two rabbits fp to him hes six months old to get him on lamp rap a high vis jackte around the dummy and chuck it out so it lke a eye for reflection and practice him cmeing bck to you on lamp be 4 u take him in field Quote Link to post
