falcongit 242 Posted June 13, 2010 Report Share Posted June 13, 2010 hi went out this morning at about 4.00am,had a walk about got myself this woody at 35 yards the pellet clip its wing and went into its neck but stayed down,i took another shot at its head just to make sure it wasent suffering took a pic with my ultra with it..allso got a big fat rabbit great head shot at 25 yards straight down just abit of back leg twiching..went to take a pic and my battery was dead i meant to charge it up last night,so no pic anyway quite happy with the rabbit at least the dogs will get a feed tonight,they love rabbit...the woodys in the freezer for me,very tasty with abit of bacon round it...since i got my new job not getting out so much i start work at 5am in the morning,bummer..mind you i do need the money,maybe a new springer to add to my collection... sym Quote Link to post

Mine only gets what he catches, and that's only because by the time he's finished it there's barely an unbroken bone in the body! Had a brilliant bunny chasseur last night, it does everything chicken does, and much more! I can especially recommend crispy chilli rabbit. Cut it up into very thin pieces, coat in cornfour and deep fry until crispy. Buy a bottle of sweet chilli sauce, and coat generously. Now my mouth really is watering!
