falcongit 242 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 hi to all,and thank you to venomviper for is advice on watching zinis youtube film on washing and lubeing pellets,there was a lot of crap in the bottom of my bowl when i finnished,i havent used my rifle yet to see if there is a diffence when shooting but i will let you no if it is any better than before i washed and lubed,i will try anything if it makes my shooting better...thanks to you both.... venomviper 129 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 hi ya falcongit well thank you for that matey if i can help i will buddy and my falcon loves them i have them fx in 177 and 22 and at the minute i have set my falcon on bisley mags at 11.76n on a 10.6 grains and my 22 fx 16 grains are all cleaned like that buddy you wont go far wrong i wash all pellets like it let me know how you get on buddy and is it the same as mine ? it looks like it and have you crono'd her to see what she is running at ? just give me a pm if need be buddy shay Quote Link to post

Deker 3,491 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 (edited) I had reason to pop into the BFTO at Bisley today and pellet washing and lube was being discussed... so I guess it may have some effect....BUT, these guys are talking about such a high standard even a tiny fraction improvement is welcome. I can't help but think for the VAST majority of shooters, little or no improvement will be seen, unless the pellets start life in a real bad way of course...is it worth the effort, well that's down to you to decide!!! None of the squirrels argued....... and the .22 AA Field they all went down with never saw a sink or lube!! Edited May 2, 2010 by Deker Quote Link to post
