A large number of our wild goldies now have light coloured legs, the black leg shit put about by various experts dosnt hold any more..When I was young nearly all goldies had black legs, we called them knoppers, the ones with light legs, bigger brighter coloured birds we called spinx..Yes it is a wild bird, and his hen also has light legs, this is the original picture before I cropped it..and thats a fence and lamp post in the back ground, no flight bars..
