SHOTTGUNKELLY 11
feck that looks bad ive a male staff which we all love dearly, but treat with the respect it deserves, always on a lead and never around children even still if this was my dog he would be put down, an unprevoked attack cannot be tollerated no matter what the breed Edited January 2, 2011 by SHOTTGUNKELLY
lamaha 7
Cannot believe the dog is still alive. In its home, in its garden, on the lead, that is a dangerous dog and a potential killer. It should be pts no doubt! I am not anti staff at all, i know plenty of well loved and well controlled staffs out there, but too many macho knobs have these dogs for status and haven't got a clue. TIME FOR DOG LICENSE.

Why would a dog license help? stop people who arent prepared to put time and effort into owning a dog from having one maybe? if they cant be assed to train a dog will they be prepared to go through getting a license? undisputed 1,664
Hold on a minute people. The dog did that IN ITS OWN HOME. I dont know why it did it but it was in its home at the time. If the kid did something to provoke an attack then its to be expected and you cant put a dog down for defending itself or its home or its owner. Ok i DO think the owner needs a kicking for allowing the thing to get out and roam the streets knowing what its capable of but it (in my eyes at least) certainly isnt the dog that needs punishing. [/q uote] you are a tit

I live in a part of the UK where dog licenses are in force. Believe me, it makes very, very little difference to how responsible people are to dog ownership. Honestly. Cold Ethyl 63
If it was one of mine it would have been pts immediately and when my lad done it he was pts first thing in the morning phoned the vets told them it needed done and they didnt argue.Turns out he was ill and had issues upstairs but still no way would i keep a dog that is capable of attacking anyone for no reason let alone a child. That doesnt look like one bite either or a snap thats looks like it was meant in my opinion.Regardless of whos house that dog was in it needs destroyed as if it gets the right part or a kid on their own outside when its roaming it will kill them cos hows a kid supposed to fight off a staffy? I found 2 the other night one is in copshop as part of a case im told i caught it after it attacked other dogs and frightened kids wasnt actually being aggressive to any of the kids but still 2 of them roaming free on their own and it was collared and handed over and doglost and what not informed.Stupid people with dogs has nasty repurcussions for others everytime seen it more than once despite dogs attacking or snapping in the past oh no my dog wouldnt do that next thing you hear the dogs ragged a kiddie and put him in hospital and scarred them for life not on and i think owners after this sort of thing should have to go through some sort of thing where they prove theyre responsible and can handle a dog and keep it and others safe
