Phantom 631
After typing out my write up in notepad and uploading the photo's my computer hung and me being a silly tw@t who didn't save the text lost the whole fecking lot I've decided that my 3-9x40 mildot is crap for low light even with my Ultrafire. So I'm gonna put the 3-9x56 with the 30/30 ret back on So after enduring sh!te weather including two Hail Storms (one heavy) drizzle and heavy downpours as well as freezing wind, in my makeshift basha and bivvi bag, I got a nice shot at a bunny at about 40 yards as the light was failing. He sat there for 15 minutes and wouldn't give me a full on side view or face on shot so I had to settle with a less than perfect 3/4 view of his head. So getting tired of waiting, I placed my crosshair directly at his left eye and sent the AAF on its way to decimate the grey matter and boy did it do just that! Bunny flipped back sideways its rear left leg stretched right up high; toes apart, quivered and then smoothly came to rest. PERFECTION This is where he fell: This is the entrance wound once I had him out from under the fence. I won't put up the autopsy pics but hell did it make a mess Its amazing the damage a sub12 can do in .22 Gonna have to get me a .177 and then I'll be able to compare the damage Phantom Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Your building up steam now mate, thats two in a couple of days Would have been three The next one came running up towards me. Got to within 25 yards and sat dead still, settled quickly and gave me a full broadside shot. Baby was loaded, but I had forgotten to lock the bolt down  Target aquired, 1st stage up, second stage gone. Nearly crapped myself; waited for the phutt and crack, got a deafening BANG, pellet fell almost at bunnies feet and well lets just say, I didn't see another bunny that evening I'll be back out tomorrow Phantom Quote Link to post
