Kay 3,709
I spent most of the afternoon watching my son & the other student firefighters at the local station to see what they had learned & for them to put it into practice over the last 13 weeks .... this is the third time my son has done a course there & he was a cadet/ mentor to the students who hadn't done it before & the one yelling at them All in all its been a special day for me & made me very proud as the boy will do everything to get into the fire service once he is old enough ........... just some pics of the day he is the one in the middle doing the regester thing after a drill another drill

Attack Fell Terrier 864
Best of luck to him, fingers crossed he'll be able to cut the mustard when it comes to joining. Well done your lad, its quite hard to get in today, a few young lads havd tried and not much luck. Its a good job and good money. A mate of mine joined a few years back and they told him his chances of getting in are better because he's Black! He himself was disgusted with what they said because he wanted to know that he really was good enough for the job and that he didn't like the thought of getting in when there could of been someone better than what he is that could of or should of got the job.
