Birthday Rat Bashing

Had a ride out this morning with Pointer and my nephew to see our friends for a spot of rat bashing at the pig farm. We found a new place where the rats have taken up residence behind some boards and we weren’t expecting the amount of rats to all bolt at once (around 20 ) after only one board being moved. People, rats and dogs everywhere :11: so few managed to escape but we will be prepared next time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A good couple of hours with great company and lots of laughter . Here’s the EOD pic with 36 rats or so we thought .

 

 

We started to put the dogs and smoker, etc back in the pick up ready to go and we noticed Amanda had disappeared with the lurcher and their rough coated terrier then she appeared with five more rats in her hand :clapping: , we didn’t hear a thing :11: .

 

 

So a grand total of 41 rats, not a bad way at all to spend a couple of hours on my Birthday :friends: .

I was due to spend the weekend out with hounds but seeing as it was Hedgehunters birthday and that id been away hunting for the past couple of weekends i thought id give it a miss and take her ratting instead.

 

Thats just the sort of kind hearted,unselfish,loving,caring and thoughtfull boyfriend i am.
