well i was sat at home bored and thought cant go out hunting so thought id try a little zero session off i went up to the permission well i bought some bisley magnums and thought id give them a go aswel as my normal air arms feild set the targets up and after re zeroing my scope (it was well out knocked it as i put it in pick up ) i chose to use the aa feild first so off i went with 6 shots which i had left in mag from zeroing and thought i did pretty well with them then i switched to the bisleys me thinking i needed to re zero i was wrong more or less the exact same grouping i was very impressed with the outcome also bearing in mind these are from shooting from the window of the pick up

think i will start using them but not too sure of the gun power now so will need to check at the gun shop as i dont own a chronograph if my rifle is firing over the 12ft/lbs will the gun shop keep hold of it as if is i will not want to use them especially if i get stopped by police for any reason because eventually i want my fac

[/ quo great shooting mate ,but when you say you need to check the power at the gun shop , i took my sons rifle to be chronod at a gun shop (hw97) they said it was over the limit & confiscated it we had to pay to have the spring changed before they would give it us back ,no way would they return it ,he had only just bought it & for legal reasons we did the right thing ,or so we thought ,beware unless you know the shop owners

ive been told its the law if you take an air rifle to be chronoed at the gun shop & its over the limit ,they have to confiscate the weapon . so be aware lads ,they dont mention this in the shops before they test them , remember this lads ,cheers pete

Hey Pete, Welcome to the forum

Please don't fall into the catagory of the 'idiots' by calling air guns (either pistol or rifle) weapons.

They are tools of the person using them; either sporting tools for target work or field tools for vermin and pest control

They only become weapons when you think about using it to harm another human being  or if you happen to be an 'anti' or a journalist who is set on sensationalising our tools for the worst.
