bobslurchers 1
We had our oldest lurcher neutered fairly recently, as he is now retired so he can be in the house with the girls. We followed the vets advice about waiting whatever time they said till he would be safe to go with the girls. We followed the vets advice but still ened up with puppies. They are now around 8 weeks old - we havent advertised them as we wanted to be sure the lurcher was the sire. They look like they are going to be huge by the size of their feet, they are already bigger than my smallest terrier. They also seem to have quite a lurchery frame to them. Does anyone have a running dog x rottie or ever herd of one before? Or are these guys better off going to pet homes? Quote Link to post

GET THEM OUT (.)(.) 39
asbo93 of this site has the best allround dog i have seen, and geuss what it is a lurcher x rottie !! , , it would put many a allround dog to shame on this site, i wouldnt say go out and breed this cross but personall i would keep one back i will post some pictures is anyone would like to see, give the rest away to pet homes, o yea btw the dog is a allrounder there is nothing he hasnt taken, Quote Link to post
bobslurchers 1
I had a similar thoughs about finding them pet homes as they arent the best cross, although luckily we only have two pups so we may just end up keeping them both. The rottie is quite athletic for her breed, and the sire is a very good all round dog. Im hoping they will turn out well like asbos dog. Quote Link to post
MoChara 1,632
hope all turns out well for you, im sure it is a hard decision to make, you never know what might happen they could turn out ok atb.. nicole Quote Link to post
Hollie 21
I don't think drowning them is the answer, talk about adding fuel to the fire, everyone talks about humane dispatching of rabbits and then people suggest drowning what could turn out to make someone a wonderful, lifelong companion Antis will have a field day with this! steveS.Yorks 161
Surely you could find pet homes for just 2 pups? could be some kids best mate remembered for life,a lot of people on here from the older generation will have started with a mongrel give em a chance. Quote Link to post

ferreter.al 22
asbos dog looks a belter...i stand corrected.also i never realised there was only 2 pups,im sure you will manage to get pet homes for them.i had a little collie type mongrel as a kid and my dad put her back 2 a border collie and i still got the grand daughter to this dog and one of the lads who i work with got the great great grand daughter that my old man bread.shame that will be end of this line in our family but like someone says cant beat a mongrel as a kid.use to catch rabbits and what not in the bushes.im not contradicting myself here because of asbos dog.its still not a x i would own but like i said in my earlier post,i hope you find good homes for these pups.atvb Quote Link to post
littlefish 588
What sort of breeding is in the lurcher? What size is the lurcher? Quote Link to post
GET THEM OUT (.)(.) 39
the asbo dog, what a bloody name, asbo himself even says he wouldnt own one of these dogs if the accidental breeding didnt take place, he did actually sell them all, it was a big litter aswell, but the dog asbo was last to go, he was given to a mate and the lad couldnt touch him for months on end he was so nervous, asbo got him back worked with him and made a cracking dog, i think there was only 1 other dog that was heavyer than asbo out the litter, one bitch that is local is very racey looks like a deerhoundx to me, Quote Link to post
